VINKOVCI, Sept 30 (Hina) - The Croatian Army 3rd and 5th Guards Brigades were formally disbanded at a ceremony in the Bosut barracks in the eastern town of Vinkovci on Tuesday.

The two brigades were replaced by a newly established 3rd Guards
Armoured Mechanised Brigade, which will be based in Vinkovci.
The units were disbanded as part of the reorganisation of the armed
forces.
