GRAZ GRAZ, Sept 29 (Hina) - Croatia is Austria's most important export and investment market in Central and East Europe, the vice-president of Styria's Chamber of Economy, Gilbert Fritzberg, said on Monday at the Days of Croatian
Economy event, which is being held in Graz as part of the autumn international fair "Herbst 2003".
GRAZ, Sept 29 (Hina) - Croatia is Austria's most important export
and investment market in Central and East Europe, the vice-
president of Styria's Chamber of Economy, Gilbert Fritzberg, said
on Monday at the Days of Croatian Economy event, which is being held
in Graz as part of the autumn international fair "Herbst 2003". #L#
Last year's trade between the two countries totalled around one
billion euros, while this year's trade was expected to reach the
amount of 1.5 billion, Fritzberg said. He added that Austria was the
leading investor in Croatia and called on Austrian companies to
continue making investments and strengthening economic
cooperation.
Representatives of Sisak-Moslavina County and Styria signed an
agreement on cooperation at the Days of Croatian Economy.
The Graz fair, which lasts from 27 September to 5 October, is being
attended by some 20 Croatian business people, and delegations of
the Croatian chambers of trades and economy, who are taking part in
a construction show.
