Zagreb Archbishop and Croatian Bishops' Conference president Josip Bozanic. The promotion will take place on October 21, which marks the 25th anniversary of John Paul's pontificate. Bozanic is the sixth cardinal in the history of the Zagreb archdiocese. He was born in Rijeka in 1949 and was appointed Archbishop of Zagreb and president of the Croatian Bishops' Conference in 1997.
