HR-BULLETIN-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 5080 HINA Zagreb, 18 September 2003 CROATIAN GOVERNMENT MEETS BEHIND CLOSED DOORSZAGREB, Sept 18 (Hina) - The Croatian government met behind closed doors on Thursday to discuss the implementation of measures aimed at adjusting Croatian laws to European Union regulations and the preparation of answers to the EU membership questionnaire, the government's public relations office said in a statement. The Ministry of European Integration was instructed to coordinate the preparation of a national programme for association with the EU and to present the final draft for discussion and adoption by November 28. The government endorsed the agreement amending the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) and the supplementary protocols and sent them to parliament for ratification under urgent procedure. The amended agreement was adjusted for changes that will emerge when the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia become full member
