ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will visit Hungary from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, where he is due to hold talks with the most senior officials.

Mesic will meet his host, President Ferenc Madl, Prime Minister
Peter Medgyessy, Parliament Speaker Katalin Szili, and Budapest
Mayor Gabor Demszky.
The Croatian president is scheduled to give a lecture at the
Hungarian Science Academy, present the Hungarian edition of his
book on the break-up of the former Yugoslavia, and visit the Danube
Commission.
He is also expected to sign an agreement on border traffic control
as well as attend an economy forum at which 22 Croatian companies
will participate.
While in Budapest, Mesic will attend the annual assembly of local
Croats' umbrella organisation. He is also due to visit Pecs, which
has the largest Croatian community in Hungary.
Mesic will head a delegation including Deputy Prime Minister Slavko
Linic, Public Works Minister Radimir Cacic, Environmental
Protection and Zoning Minister Ivan Banac, and Assistant Foreign
Minister Olga Kresovic-Rogulja.
