The statement said that such graffiti were detrimental to the Serb
community in Croatia and coexistence in a multi-ethnic area.
"We hope that the perpetrators have been identified and that they
will be properly punished," Stanko Zivkovic told today's session of
the County Assembly on behalf of the assemblymen who signed the
statement.
Zivkovic said that such graffiti could be interpreted as an attempt
"to poison inter-ethnic relations" and used for election purposes.
"We fully reject them and do not recognise any collective guilt," he
added.
