ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - Relations between Poland and Croatia are very good and the two countries do not have major open issues, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Wednesday after talks with his Polish counterpart Laszek Miller, who is on an official two-day visit to Croatia.
ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - Relations between Poland and Croatia are very good and the two countries do not have major open issues, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Wednesday after talks with his Polish counterpart Laszek Miller, who is on an official two-day visit to Croatia. #L# On behalf of their governments, the two PMs signed an agreement on the protection of confidential information and an agreement on the prevention of natural and technical disasters. Statements were made after the signing. Racan said the two countries' economic cooperation and trade was increasing, but Croatia did not play an adequate role in the trade because it was lagging behind in the business offer. Racan and Miller agreed that new possibilities for the strengthening of economic cooperation needed to be discussed. Racan added that he saw possibilities in wood industry, transport, shipbuilding industry and tourism. Racan thanked Poland on its support and expressed satisfaction with Poland's success on its path to Euro-Atlantic associations.
