with his Polish counterpart Laszek Miller, who is on an official

On behalf of their governments, the two PMs signed an agreement on
the protection of confidential information and an agreement on the
prevention of natural and technical disasters. Statements were
made after the signing.
Racan said the two countries' economic cooperation and trade was
increasing, but Croatia did not play an adequate role in the trade
because it was lagging behind in the business offer.
Racan and Miller agreed that new possibilities for the
strengthening of economic cooperation needed to be discussed.
Racan added that he saw possibilities in wood industry, transport,
shipbuilding industry and tourism.
Racan thanked Poland on its support and expressed satisfaction with
Poland's success on its path to Euro-Atlantic associations.
Miller told reporters the agreements signed today would advance the
two countries' cooperation.
