The president of the UHPA, Ivan Puskar, presented this data at a
news conference on Tuesday, stressing that in this year's first
eight months, Croatian travel agencies brought 30 percent more
foreign tourist to Croatia than in the same period the year before.
He added that the number of Croatian tourists travelling abroad
rose by 40 percent in relation to last year.
Puskar said that travel agencies expected an increase in tourism
turnover this autumn up to 25 percent.
The UHPA believes that the next tourist season could also see good
results.
