Reporters asked Budisa to comment on Democratic Centre's decision
today to resume negotiations with the HSLS next week on forming a
pre-election coalition.
Budisa said he would consider the proposal, but added that at
present it was unlikely it would be accepted.
Budisa said the halting of negotiations because of disagreements
about slates in two constituencies was bad for both parties because
they could have become the third strongest coalition in the
country.
"Now the HSLS will fight for that alone," he said, but added that
relations between the two parties were not undermined because
negotiations had been held in a good and fair climate.
Budisa estimated the HSLS would cross the electoral threshold in
all constituencies.
Asked to say how many HSLS deputies he thought would be part of the
new parliamentary make-up, he said between 10 and 15.
