ZAGREB/TIRANA, Sept 12 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic and her Albanian and Macedonian counterparts, Pandeli Majko and Vladko Buckovski, signed a joint statement on cooperation within the Adriatic Charter in Tirana
on Friday, the Croatian defence ministry's public relations office reported.

within the Adriatic Charter in Tirana on Friday, the Croatian

Earlier on Friday, Antunovic arrived in Tirana for a two-day
official visit to Albania, at the invitation of Minister Majko.
In the Albanian capital, Antunovic took part in a trilateral
meeting with her colleagues from Macedonia and Albania. At the
meeting they passed their joint statement on cooperation.
Since they recently signed the Adriatic Charter, Albania, Croatia
and Macedonia, have intensified their cooperation in the defence
sector, with the assistance of the United States.
Later in the day the Croatian minister is to meet other top Albanian
officials, including Premier Fatos Nano. On Saturday she will be
received by President Alfred Moisiu.
