HARRI HOLKERI TAKES UP OFFICE AS UNMIK HEAD

PRISTINA, Aug 25 (Hina) - Former Finnish Premier Harri Holkeri on Monday officially took up office as UN Civil Administrator for Kosovo. #L# The UN Mission to Kosovo (UNMIK) public relations office said Holkeri and officials of Kosovo institutions would attend a commemoration for the victims of the recent terrorist attack on UN headquarters in Baghdad. During his recent two-day visit to Kosovo, the new civil administrator said he would consistently implement UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and would not allow anybody to interfere with his work.
