"The Croatian Foreign Ministry condemns the terrorist attack in
Baghdad. It is a deplorable fact that a top UN official was attacked
and a large number of Iraqi and international civilians injured.
Croatia calls for the urgent restoration of order in Iraq and the
transfer of authority to Iraqi people," foreign ministry
spokeswoman Natalija Bukovec said.
"This attack is yet another indicator of the need for the
involvement of the international community at large in the efforts
to stabilise the situation in Iraq," she added.
