on Saturday that it had registered a strong quake with the epicentre
325 kilometres south-east of Zagreb. #L#
The epicentre was on Bosnian territory between the Deransko Lake
and Croatia's town of Metkovic.
The quake of 4.7 on the Richter scale, and the intensity of six to
seven degrees on MCS scale at the epicentre, shook Croatia's
coastal towns Dubrovnik, Makarska and Split.
Minor material damage can be expected, according to the
seismological service.
