The programme aims at updating fishing fleet, building 30 new
fishing boats, etc.
According to calculations made by government experts, the overall
annual production of Croatia's fishing industry could reach
100,000 tonnes.
The programme should solve the problem of the current unorganised
purchase of fish, insufficient number of warehouses and freezers.
It is planned to equip eight grand markets and about 20 station for
fish wholesale along the Adriatic coast.
