NASICE FISH FARMS NASICE, July 27 (Hina) - More than five tons of fish have died in fish farms near the eastern Croatian town of Nasice as a result of months of drought, an official said on Sunday. About three tons of catfish, two
tons of grass carp and 200 kg of pike-perch have died due to the lack of water, technologist Nevenka Budisa said. "The fish farms haven't seen real rain for four or five months, and the water level is 50 percent lower than necessary at this time of the year," she said. Budisa said that only rain and lower temperatures could alleviate the situation.(hina) vm
