ZAGREB, July 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Simonovic and Italy's Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Roberto Antonione discussed in Zagreb on Thursday the management of fish in the Adriatic and the
protection of this sea from ecology threats, the Croatian foreign ministry said in a statement.

Simonovic and Italy's Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs
Roberto Antonione discussed in Zagreb on Thursday the management of
fish in the Adriatic and the protection of this sea from ecology
threats, the Croatian foreign ministry said in a statement. #L#
The two sides agreed as to the need of acting in line with European
Union policy, coordinating Croatia's and Italy's efforts in the
protection of the Adriatic, and including other Adriatic countries
in the protection of the sea.
The Italian delegation said Croatia and the countries of the region
were among the main priorities of Italy's upcoming presidency of
the EU.
The two sides also agreed to step up the signing and ratification of
the most important bilateral agreements.
