POREC, July 26 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Saturday endorsed a master plan for the development of tourism in Istria until 2010, voicing hope it will provide a good model for other Croatian regions too. #L# "Croatia is investing outstanding efforts in building the infrastructure, it's investing not only in road-building but also in the modernisation of railways and in providing Croatia with gas supply and Internet access," the PM said at a meeting in Porec with members of the parliamentary tourism committee and representatives of Istria's biggest tourist companies. Racan said the government also endorsed the "Brijuni Riviera" project. While in the seaside resort of Porec, he visited the Bishops Ordinariate where he held talks with Msgr. Ivan Milovan, the bishop of the Porec-Pula diocese. Also today, the PM visited the Labinprogres agricultural machines factory in Labin where he set to work a new line of redesigned motocultivators. Responding to reporters' questions, the PM confirmed a decision would soon be formalised on a coalition his Social Democrats would form in Istria with the Istrian Democratic Assembly for the upcoming parliamentary election. Racan said he and President Stjepan Mesic signed a document with a plan for the work of secret services in the coming year, in which priority was given to reducing the danger posed by terrorism and combating organised crime and corruption.
