ZAGREB, July 25 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic has received a letter from the director of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre from Jerusalem, Efraim Zuroff, who asked the president to call on the Croatian judicial authorities to
complete an investigation into Ivo Rojnica as soon as possible and take necessary measures to bring Rojnica to justice in Croatia, the President's Office said in a statement Friday.

from Jerusalem, Efraim Zuroff, who asked the president to call on
the Croatian judicial authorities to complete an investigation
into Ivo Rojnica as soon as possible and take necessary measures to
bring Rojnica to justice in Croatia, the President's Office said in

Ivo Rojnica is a citizen of Argentina. At the start of World War II
he was a senior official of the then Ustasha authorities in
Dubrovnik.
Zuroff informed Mesic that new Argentinean President Nestor
Kirchner expressed readiness to take urgent measures against the
Nazi war criminal currently residing in Argentina, the statement
said.
