The SAA is now to be ratified by the parliament's House of
Representatives. According to some announcements this will be done
in urgent procedure.
The ratification of the SAA was the first item on today's agenda of
the Senate. The head of the Senate's foreign affairs commission,
Fiorello Provera, and other MPs stressed excellent bilateral
relations between Rome and Zagreb.
Croatia's Ambassador to Italy Drago Kraljevic was invited to attend
the Senate's session, which was interpreted by the ministry's press
release as a symbolic move indicating friendly relations between
Croatia and Italy.
