ZAGREB, July 10 (Hina) - Croatian Public Works and Reconstruction Minister Radimir Cacic on Thursday received the outgoing Swiss ambassador to Zagreb, Paul Widmer, and thanked Switzerland for its assistance in the reconstruction of
Croatia's formerly war-stricken areas and in the process of refugee returns.

Minister Radimir Cacic on Thursday received the outgoing Swiss
ambassador to Zagreb, Paul Widmer, and thanked Switzerland for its
assistance in the reconstruction of Croatia's formerly war-
stricken areas and in the process of refugee returns. #L#
In late 2002, the Croatian government and the Swiss Confederation
signed an agreement on a donation of 1.8 million Swiss franks for a
programme of providing housing to returnees and those who need
social aid in Dalmatia.
The programme is being implemented by the Swiss Humanitarian Aid in
cooperation with the Croatian ministries of reconstruction and
social welfare, the UNHCR and local authorities. It is expected
that the programme will be completely implemented by late 2004.
