ZAGREB, July 15 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament's foreign affairs committee did not discuss the UN war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) or Zagreb's relations with that court. No new data or assessments were made
public at the closed-door meeting of the committee, the parliament's vice president and the committee's chairman, Zdravko Tomac, said in a statement.

Denying allegations about the committee's closed-door session,
Tomac said that committee members had talked to nine candidates for
new ambassadors and five candidates for new consuls, and that the
tribunal had not been discussed.
