ZAGREB, July 17 (Hina) - In line with agreements signed on Thursday, Hungary's oil giant MOL became a strategic partner and the owner of 25 percent plus one share of the Croatian oil company INA. The shares were purchased for US$505
million.

A contract on the purchase of INA shares and a stockholders
agreement were signed by Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic on behalf of
the Croatian government and MOL chairman of the board Zsolt
Hernadi.
Hernadi and INA chairman of the board Tomislav Dragicevic signed an
agreement on cooperation between the two companies.
Present at the signing were the Croatian and Hungarian Prime
Ministers, Ivica Racan and Peter Medgyessy respectively.
