ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - Croatian poet and writer Kresimir Micanovic's collection of short stories "Vrtlar" (The Gardener) has been published in Polish under the title "Ogrodnik".

The Croatian literary market is a real phenomenon, according to
Marta Hopfer, an editor with the Verso publishing house from
Olsztyn who wrote the preface for Micanovic's book. She has
announced Polish editions of other Croatian authors.
In Croatia, Micanovic's book, originally published in 1994, has
been described as a good example of the younger generation's urban
sensibility.
