The arrangement was cancelled after the Office of the County
Prosecutor asked today for bankruptcy proceedings to be initiated
in this transport company because of its 6.8 million-kuna debt to
the City of Zagreb.
Some of Croatia Bus employees who support the company owner Leon
Sulic today continued disrupting traffic in downtown Zagreb,
driving a score of busses very slowly. They also protested outside
the offices of the city government, demanding that Mayor Vlasta
Pavic sign the disputed conclusion that might save the ailing
company from bankruptcy.
