The "Mijo Poljak" library was named after its founder.
Vrbosic said he was confident the library would be a meeting place
for all Bosnian citizens, adding that the Croatian government would
continue backing similar projects.
The library has in excess of 30,000 books, of which 13,900 were
rescued from a fire in the City Hall in 1991. More than 16,000 have
been donated.
