ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - A book by Zdravko Tomac, entitled "Prijepori o nacionalnom - u znaku mosta" (Disputes About the National Issue - in the Sign of a Bridge" (unofficial translation), was presented in Zagreb on Thursday.

One of the speakers at today's promotion, the Social Liberals'
president, Drazen Budisa, said Tomac was systematically irritating
both left and right-wingers in Croatia.
He irritates the unreformed left because as a leftist and social
democrat he defends the fundamental truths about the Homeland War,
opposing all forms of relativisation of the war, said Budisa,
adding that Tomac irritated the right because he dismantled its
stereotype that only right-wingers could defend national
interests.
Budisa hailed the fact that the book was published at the time when
Tomac announced the establishment of a Croatian Social Democratic
Party and the transformation of the Croatian Unity Forum into a
party.
