ZAGREB CLINIC FACILITIES ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - The head of the clinical centre "Zagreb", Josip Paladino, and the CEOs of Privredna, Zagrebacka and Splitska banks on Thursday signed a contract on a EUR73.2 million-worth loan for the
construction of four new facilities of the hospital complex.

for the construction of four new facilities of the hospital

Each bank will provide 24.4 million euros for construction works,
which should start in autumn and be completed in 2005.
The new facilities, to be built on the location of today's Rebro
clinic, include an emergency ward, an outpatient hospital, a
building with 36 operating rooms, a hotel and a garage. The project
will increase the centre's capacity by 25 percent.
The loan is given in two instalments for a period of 15 years and is
the first such loan to be granted for that period of time.
This is the first time banks have granted a loan for a health
project.
