ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Monday sent a message of best wishes to all Croatian citizens on the occasion of Statehood Day, marked on June 25. He stressed that "although we are still facing a lot,
our way towards the EU and the realisation of that goal are no longer in question". He recalled events in the past 12 years, from the passing of a decision on Croatia's independence, the Homeland War and efforts to have Croatia internationally recognised. "Today, twelve years later, Croatia is an independent, internationally recognised state and belongs to the family of parliamentary democracies.
