Djapic urged the ruling coalition to set the date of parliamentary
elections as soon as possible, since he believes this issue will be
a focus of the electoral campaign.
The HSP president told reporters the Summit in Greece confirmed the
party's doubts about the individual approach of Croatia to European
associations, as this "has proven to be completely untrue".
"Croatia is in a very doubtful and awkward position which we have,
in a way, brought ourselves into due to the mistakes of the ruling
coalition. All the stories about the European Union are merely
electoral moves aimed at winning the election with foreign policy.
But we believe foreign policy is one of the biggest mistakes of
Croatia's politics," Djapic said.
He reiterated the request that the ruling coalition set the date of
the ballot so opposition parties could prepare for it.
