In a press release, the HIP assessed Thursday that it was
counterproductive for Croatia to abolish visas for Serbia and
Montenegro while the European Union had not done so yet.
Prime Minister Ivica Racan's government is citing European
practice and is at the same time making a step away, towards a Balkan
union, thus not showing credibility of its European orientation,
the HIP said in comment to the government decision of yesterday.
