ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - The Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) marked 14 years of activity on Saturday with a joint session of the Governing Council and all party bodies.

Party president Drazen Budisa said the main aspect of the 14 years
of HSLS activity had been a clear distancing from all forms of
totalitarianism, particularly from the two ideologies which left
their mark on the 20th century -- fascism and communism.
Budisa said the HSLS had always opposed and would continue to do so
with every attempt to downplay the creation of the Croatian state,
which he said was a trend among a portion of politicians and media.
