SUBOTICA, June 5 (Hina) - The abolishment of the visa requirement
leads to the softening of the border between the two countries, free
flow of people, goods and capital, but borders will remain closed to
criminals, Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic said Thursday,
commenting on the Croatian government's decision of Wednesday.

Zivkovic said this in an interview for the latest issue of
Vojvodina's weekly in Croatian "Hrvatska Rijec".
"We held long talks with representatives of the Croatian government
on how it was necessary to at least alleviate the visa regime,
creating conditions for unhampered communication, which
considering the ties between our two countries, is of extreme
importance," Zivkovic said.
Assessing relations between Croatia and Serbia, Zivkovic said the
two countries' communication and relations were at an envious
level, to both countries' satisfaction. He added, however, there
was room for improvement.
