OPPOSITION CRITICISES BILL ON ELECTRONIC MEDIA

ZAGREB, May 28 (Hina) - Opposition party benches in the Croatian parliament expressed many objections during Wednesday's discussion on a bill on electronic media, assessing that the bill emphasised great power of the government, i.e. of the competent ministry that would be responsible for budget funds to motivate pluralism and variety in the media. Nevertheless, it is more than probably that a majority in parliament will support the bill in its first reading.
