"I believe this visit will help re-establish a real climate of friendship and a political atmosphere which will facilitate our rapprochement. I'm not saying that we've grown apart, but the public in both countries has accentuated issues where there is no agreement, while hundreds of solved issues and those which connect us have been neglected," Mesic said, urging a change in this attitude and the promotion of elements which bring the two neighbours closer.
