ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament resumed its session on Wednesday with a debate on a final bill of amendments to the Social Welfare Law, which is intended to improve the work of social welfare services and to adjust the
needs of persons dependant on social welfare to the real possibilities of the state.

Presenting the changes, Deputy Social Welfare Minister Bozo Zaja
notified MPs that almost half the amendments referred to the
benefits of those living on welfare.
