"All activities taking Montenegro to the European Union as well as
the road to (NATO's) Partnership for Peace, a programme of economic
and social reforms -- these are the priorities for the Montenegrin
people," Vujanovic, who was nominated by the ruling coalition of
the Democratic Party of Socialists and the Social Democratic Party,
said after the Democratic Transition Centre issued the first
unofficial results of the presidential election.
Vujanovic has won 64 percent of the vote in a ballot where the
turnout was 48 percent, according to the Centre.
