In late 2002, thirteen (13) members of the bench of Social Liberals
(HSLS) and another three MPs submitted the interpellation,
insisting on an explanation for a three-year-long delay in the
construction of the western section of the Istrian road, called
Istrian "Y", and on reasons why information had not been given about
the matter in due time.
Explaining this initiative on behalf of the HSLS bench, Jadranka
Katarincic-Skrlj said that this might lead to a confidence vote in
the government.
