VUKOVAR, April 28 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party, Ivo Sanader, said at Monday's public forum in Vukovar there was no such party that could defeat the HDZ in the coming parliamentary
elections.

He slammed the incumbent government for the "humiliating treatment
of Croatian Homeland War veterans, emigrants, and Croats in
Bosnia".
He said "areas of special government concern will be in the centre
of the HDZ's pre-electoral programme and the work of the future HDZ
government".
Before the forum, a delegation led by Sanader laid a wreath under a
monument erected in memory of victims of the Homeland War on Ovcara
farm outside Vukovar.
