PRISTINA, April 20 (Hina) - The leader of the Democratic Party of Albanians in Macedonia (DPA), Arben Xhaferi, and his deputy on Saturday evening tendered irrevocable resignations due to dissatisfaction with a stalemate in democratic
processes in Macedonia, i.e. the implementation of the Ohrid agreement.
PRISTINA, April 20 (Hina) - The leader of the Democratic Party of
Albanians in Macedonia (DPA), Arben Xhaferi, and his deputy on
Saturday evening tendered irrevocable resignations due to
dissatisfaction with a stalemate in democratic processes in
Macedonia, i.e. the implementation of the Ohrid agreement. #L#
The party's main committee did not accept the resignations, but it
decided to freeze all activities in the country's political life
until further notice and withdraw its seven deputies in the
Macedonian parliament.
Xhaferi and Menduh Thaqi believe that there is no readiness in
Macedonia to see the country function as a multiethnic state.
