The commission, established in Rome on October 14, 2002, holds
talks on the basis of amendments adopted to the Croatian law on
compensation for property confiscated during the ex-Yugoslav
communist rule. The amendments create a possibility for Italian
citizens, former owners, to take part in the denationalisation
process in Croatia in cases where the issue of compensation has not
already been solved with international agreements, the ministry
said.
