VUKOVAR: CANDLES LIT IN MEMORY OF OVCARA VICTIMS VUKOVAR, April 19 (Hina) - Representatives of the association of Homeland War soldiers, invalids and widows of Koprivnica's Podravka food company and the association of war veterans of
the oil company INA from Zagreb on Saturday lit candles at a mass grave at Ovcara outside Vukovar, in honour of 200 people killed and buried there in 1991.
VUKOVAR, April 19 (Hina) - Representatives of the association of
Homeland War soldiers, invalids and widows of Koprivnica's
Podravka food company and the association of war veterans of the oil
company INA from Zagreb on Saturday lit candles at a mass grave at
Ovcara outside Vukovar, in honour of 200 people killed and buried
there in 1991. #L#
The gathered paid tribute to the patients, medical staff and
civilians abducted from the Vukovar hospital and executed at Ovcara
three days after Serb military and paramilitary forces entered the
town on November 18, 1991.
A religious service was held at the site.
