THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, April 17 (Hina) - Serbian war lord Zeljko Raznatovic Arkan's units "Tigers" and a Serbian State Security (SDB) special operations unit, known as the Red Berets, participated jointly in war operations in Bosnia,
protected witness B-129 said on Thursday in the trial against former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic before the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague.

witness B-129 said on Thursday in the trial against former Yugoslav
president Slobodan Milosevic before the international war crimes
tribunal in The Hague. #L#
Continuing her testimony from yesterday, the witness, a former
secretary of Arkan's Serb Volunteer Guard (SDG), said today that
between 60 and 70 members of the Tigers had taken part in conflicts
in Treskavica near Sarajevo in June and July 1995, under the command
of SDB officer Vasa Mijovic.
One of the members of the Tigers, a participant in the actions,
Jugoslav Simic, told the witness that SDB members had tortured and
then killed Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina prisoners of war.
She testified that the Tigers, organised by the SDB, had
participated in fights around Banja Luka in the autumn of 1995.
At the time, Arkan led some 200 people in operations in the areas of
Kljuc, Mrkonjic Grad, Sanski Most and Prijedor, but the operations
were commanded by SDB officer Radojica Bozovic, she said.
B-219 also testified that the Tigers had lost 16 of their men in
these operations, while many of them had been wounded.
Milosevic's trial will adjourn on Friday for ten days because of the
Easter holidays.
