NATO received an official confirmation from Russia on its intention
to withdraw its forces from Kosovo. #L#
KFOR said that the procedure of withdrawing Russian forces from
Kosovo would be gradual in order to maintain the existing level of
security and support to local institutions.
According to sources in Pristina, Russia's decision on withdrawing
its soldiers from KFOR is not of a political but financial nature.
