A part of the media issued the information about the meeting which
should allegedly take place in the next ten or so days. According to
the same sources, the meeting will be attended by representatives
of the Forum of Croatia's Unity, the Social Liberals (HSLS), the
Democratic Centre (DC) and the HSS.
Tomcic said the HSS abode by the views of the party's assembly that
it would run in the coming parliamentary elections independently,
and that agreements between parties could begin only after the
announcement of the electoral results.
A representative of the Forum, Davorin Rudolf, confirmed that the
meeting was this Forum's idea.
The idea was initiated because the Forum believes that it is time
for Croatia to get a new political elite; otherwise the necessary
changes will come about slowly due to the inefficient authorities,
Rudolf said.
