Citing sources from the Independent Union of Wood and Paper
Industry, the media on Friday reported that 30 new sawmills had been
opened last year, of which seven were owned by MPs, mostly from the
HSS.
Ten members of the HSS said today they were not owners of sawmills,
and the party's president and whip, as well as its honorary
president sent a message through their colleagues saying they did
not own any sawmills either.
Some HSS deputies have accused the Social Liberals (HSLS) of
soiling their party's reputation.
