OSIJEK, ITALY'S VICENZA CONTINUE TO COOPERATE OSIJEK, April 1 (Hina) - As a part of the long-standing economic cooperation between the eastern Croatian city of Osijek and Italy's Vicenza, a meeting of businessmen and chambers of
commerce of the two region was held in Osijek on Tuesday.

Italy is the most important foreign trade partner of Osijek-Baranja
County in exports. Of US$323 million of the county's export last
year, 168 mullion dollars in goods were exported to Italy.
The director of the Vicenza Chamber of Commerce, Umbaldo Alifuoco
said that entrepreneurs from northern Italy had difficulties with a
lack of space for the expansion of their services and qualified
labour and that those were the reasons why they came to Slavonia.
Also held were talks between representatives of Osijek-Baranja and
Italian companies.
