ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - The average salary paid to employees with companies in Croatia totalled 3,891 kuna (approximately 506 euros) in January, which was by 1.4 percent higher in nominal terms and by one percent higher in real
terms as against December, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics.

The average wage thus in January was by 52 kuna higher than in
December.
It climbed by 8.2 percent in nominal terms and by 7.3 percent in real
terms in comparison to the average salary paid to workers in
companies in January 2002.
