ZAGREB, March 28 (Hina) - The number of employees in Croatian industry in February declined slightly, by 0.1 percent, in relation to January. The number of workers in industry went up by 3.8% from the same month last year, the Central
Bureau of Statistics reported.

This continues a trend of decrease of the number of employees in
industry which has lasted for several months. At the same time,
labour productivity has grown.
Labour productivity in industry for the period from January through
February rose by eight percent in comparison to the same period in
2002.
