There have not been any cancellations as yet either with arriving or
departing planes at Zagreb's Pleso Airport, the security director
at Zagreb's airport Mario Capelj told Hina on Thursday. The
security level at Zagreb airport, has been increased to the level it
was in the wake of the terrorist attack September 11, 2001.
Croatia Airlines flights are regular in Croatia as well as its
flights abroad. There has not been any drop in bookings recorded,
the CTN's public relations office said.
It was also reported that prices of air tickets are not expected to
increase on flights abroad.
Nevertheless, seeing that the International Association of Air
Transport Airlines (IATE), or rather its members, adopted a
decision by which fares would go up by two to three per cent as of
April 15 for regular international flights, Croatian Airlines as a
member of the IATE will act in accordance with the decision. At the
same time, CTN points out that the company had not yet received any
official information of the decision by IATE.
