LJUBLJANA, March 14 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic and her Slovene counterpart Anton Grizold signed in Ljubljana on Friday a defence cooperation agreement and discussed cooperation in the military industry,
regional security, and their countries joining transatlantic associations.

Grizold said the agreement was a turning point in relations in the
field of defence, and that his country was willing to help Croatia
on its road to NATO.
Said Croatia's Antunovic, "Even though it wasn't formalised,
cooperation between the two states in the defence sector existed
before. Now it can be improved and more regular, maintained on the
level of constant working meetings between experts, even those with
political weight."
She congratulated Grizold on Slovenia's impending NATO and EU
entry.
